It is happening so gradually that it may be all but invisible to more recent generations, but there is a changing of the guard occurring as my generation, the Boomers, slowly begins to transition out of the workforce.
This is exciting for all concerned, although as well a bit scary also.
Exciting because as I see my generation exit the workforce, all seem to have great plans for how they’re going to use this newfound free time. Exciting for the generations following, as I see how quickly and how well they are stepping up into more senior HR leadership roles.
Scary though because this talent leaving does mean a loss of valuable corporate knowledge (who still remembers handling double digit sal.....
