How much trust do you have in your organization’s senior leadership? You’re not alone if you find yourself doubting their decisions. Studies show more and more employees do not trust or have confidence in their leaders.

How can an organization possibly succeed if so few employees believe in those leading the way?

In our first February session, best-selling author and leadership advisor Vince Molinaro, will explain why leadership culture is the real differentiator between thriving organizations and those that fall behind. Executives and HR play important roles in supporting and contributing to an organization’s

senior leadership. Everyone must be held accountable.

Vince will share four terms and conditions of what he calls, “The Leadership Contract.”

1. Leadership is a decision

Today’s leaders must make the conscious and deliberate decision to lead. This decision sets an expectation that you will be the best leader to make your company successful.

2. Leadership is an obligation

Leaders must immediately accept that they are held to a higher standard of behaviour. Leaders have obligations to customers, employees, organizations, and the communities where business is conducted. Leaders must step up to their accountabilities and live up to the obligations as a leader.

3. Leadership is hard work

Leaders must realize that leadership is actually becoming more difficult than it used to be. Leaders must develop resilient personal resolve and commit to tackling items they may normally avoid or pass on – this is what prevents business from progressing.

4. Leadership is a community

Today's world is complex – no one leader has all the answers. The idea of the lone hero was yesterday's model of leadership. Today’s best leaders actively participate in leadership communities that they can turn to when the going gets tough.
