Empathy is the cornerstone of effective teamwork and is particularly important when teams collaborate online. While there are many technologies that allow remote teams to communicate and share information, the quality of any online collaboration ultimately depends on how well people understand each other. Our June webcast is all about how we connect as people.
What to expect?
In this unique online session, inventor and Twenty One Toys founder Ilana Ben-Ari will introduce you to The Empathy Toy. This collaborative puzzle, which can only be solved when players understand each other, is being used by teams from a wide variety of industries to increase the clarity and creativity of their online interactions. Already in 1000s of boardrooms and classrooms in over 50 countries, The Empathy Toy has been featured in TIME magazine as a technology that is reshaping the future of learning.
Ilana's talk will explore opportunities for empathy, resilience and creativity within the constraints of remote work. She will show you how the Empathy Toy is being used in online settings and will invite you to consider how you can leverage the power of play with your own teams.

Having already delivered in-person workshops and training across 4 continents, Ilana and the Twenty One Toys team are now focusing on bringing greater empathy and collaboration to the online world. Ilana is excited to speak with you about how maintaining a human touch in the era of remote work is possible - and why it’s essential.
*don’t worry about saying this perfectly, but if you’re interested, pronunciation: ih lah na ben ar ee *shown in lower case for spelling (in a strange oversight, the English language decided to make upper case "i"s look just like lower case "L"s)
